I am licensed by the International Association of Certified Indoor Air Consultants, the certifying body for commercial and residential indoor air consultants in North America. My background in mold work is varied and comprehensive, from publishing a comprehensive study of toxic mold litigation two decades ago, to helping permit state-of-the-art cannabis facilities where the presence of mold of any kind is a catastrophe, to helping small business owners and homeowners discover or confirm the presence (or lack thereof) of mold in their property.
I authored one of the first comprehensive legal papers regarding toxic mold litigation in the country, which has been reprinted by several industry publications. See Gregory Goodman, Insurance Triggers as Judicial Gatekeepers in Toxic Mold Litigation, 57 Vanderbilt Law Review 241 (2004).
